Thank you to the NH Tomahawks for joining the Nashua Blast 10U & 8U girls at practice this past week. They were led by the Tomahawks coaches including Blast alums/current college players Lindsay Hult (Holy Cross) & Olivia Johnson (Jacksonville).
Coach Maddy from GSE came down this week to join the Nashua Blast 14U Girls team during their practice. She showed the girls lot of new skills and techniques for elevating their game play.
The 8U Blast boys teams played at halftime of the Nashua North vs. Nashua South lacrosse game.

President's Corner
Hello Blast Lacrosse Families,
I’m thrilled to announce that our youth lacrosse program is gearing up for an exciting spring season, packed with new opportunities for both new and returning players! We’ve made big changes to make lacrosse even more accessible this year—our registration fees have been cut in half, dropping from $200 to just $100!
We’re also offering free “Learn to Play” and “Skills” clinics to help newcomers and experienced players sharpen their game before the season begins. Our first clinic will be November 3rd sponsored and run by Rivier University with the support of current collegiate players, and the other will be December 8th, led by athletes and coaches from the Nashua High Schools. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our players to learn from experienced athletes while having fun.
In addition, Blast is putting together teams for the New Hampshire Tomahawks winter league—registration OPEN NOW. This is a great way to get involved in one of the fastest-growing sports in America and prepare for an amazing spring season.
We’re excited to see new and familiar faces on the field and can’t wait for all the action ahead. Stay tuned for more updates, and let’s get ready for another great year of lacrosse!

Blast Welcomes New President
The Nashua Blast is very excited to introduce our new president, Will DeLanoy. Will is a passionate advocate for the sport of lacrosse. He has an unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the sport and has dedicated himself to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all players and coaches.
Will’s journey in lacrosse began during his own youth experience and throughout his high school years, where he quickly fell in love with the sport. His exceptional skills and leadership qualities allowed him to excel both as a player and a team captain. Throughout his playing career, Will experienced the transformative power of lacrosse firsthand, witnessing the impact it had on individuals and communities.
After completing his collegiate career at Saint Vincent College, Will turned his attention to promoting the sport he holds dear. He took on various roles within the lacrosse community, including coaching at the grassroots level, high school and collegiate levels. Will is currently the Head Coach of the Nashua South Boys Lacrosse program.
As the President of Nashua Blast, Will brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his position. He is committed to driving the strategic direction of the board and implementing policies and initiatives that will foster the continued growth and sustainability of lacrosse at all levels. His vision includes expanding youth programs, increasing participation among underserved communities, and promoting lacrosse as a sport of choice for aspiring athletes.
Will firmly believes that lacrosse is more than just a game; it is a vehicle for personal growth, teamwork, and lifelong friendships. He is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment that empowers individuals to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
Nashua Blast remembers Barrett Brown
Barrett Brown, who was a longtime advocate of Nashua Blast and most recently served on the program's board of directors as the NHYLA state rep for Nashua passed unexpectedly on Monday, October 2, 2023.
Barrett is survived by his wife of 20 years Jessica and their two daughters Elliott and Devin, both of whom played for Blast.

Below is a list of equipment required for the both the girls and boys game. Keep in mind that Dick's Sporting Goods and Monkey Sports are great places to try pieces on, but it is always best to price out your options.

- Shoulder pads/Chest pad (must be LAX not hockey) MUST have EKG (External Kardic Guard)

- Athletic Supporter
Girls

- Cleats (can be soccer cleats)
- Gloves and Helmets are optional and not mandatory to play
